Increasing Our Faith

Grace for week 1: Pray for the grace to wake from sleep.
Reading for Friday: Matt 9:27-31.

"Do you believe...?" Do you believe that God can do what you're asking Him to do? Do you believe? Do you believe that He can bring that relative into relationship with Him, find you another job or a new home? Heal your sick child or friend? Can He make the blind to see?
Faith comes to full stature when it's challenged. When things go well, there is no need. It's in the darkness that light has a purpose. It's in the un-knowing that trust is born.

Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
