Scripture: Mark 10:28-31
Grace: To leave everything for Him

"We can rightly say we have left everything when nothing gets in the way of our love for Christ. Our Lord demands the virtue of poverty from all his disciples, at all times and in every situation where the circumstances of their lives find them placed. We have considered this repeatedly, for it is an essential part of following him. He also asks us for a real and practical austerity in the possession and use of material goods, and to live thus supposes great generosity, much sacrifice and unceasing effort, says Paul BI. Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
