Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

Pope John Paul II, in his encyclical Rosarium Virginis Mariae writes, “The rosary marks the rhythm of human life, bringing it into harmony with the rhythm of God’s own life.” When we pray the rosary our life hooks up to the perfect life of Jesus and Mary and their perfection radiates healing into the wounded areas of our own lives.

At every step of the Rosary journey we encounter another human joy or sorrow. Through the rosary Jesus Christ takes us by the hand and leads us through every part of life, fulfilling his promises that he will never leave us and forsake us, and that we should cast all our burdens on Him, for He cares for us.

Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
