Peace I leave you

Grace: To know peace in accepting His will
Scripture: John 14:27-31

"Mary lived her life of divine filiation in a profound sentiment of humble dependence and loving adherence to God's every will...Mary, who was to be the most faithful likeness of Jesus, said, 'Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to Thy word.' Faithful to her word she would accept without reserve not only the manifest will of God, but also every circumstance permitted by Him...What an example of humble dependence on God, of absolute fidelity to His will, and of perseverance in our vocation,in spite of the difficulties and sacrifices we shall have to encounter." --from Divine Intimacy, by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., p. 510

Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
