Forgiveness

Engraft yourself onto the tree of the cross. Bind yourself by love, by measureless, infinite charity, to the slain lamb who pours out his blood from every part of his body. Let these hearts of ours be broken open! No more hardness, no more carelessness -- for time does not sleep but runs its course relentlessly! Let us make our dwelling place with him in love and holy desire, and we need never be afraid again.
This is what I want for you: to see you bound fast in that firm yet gentle bond...and this is one of the chief signs we have to show that we are disciples bound to Christ -- if we are returning good for evil...Saint Catherine of Siena
Magnificat, Monday, November 7th, pg 106.

Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
