Grace for week 3: Pray for the grace to rejoice in all things
Reading for Wednesday: Luke 7:18-23
"Blessed is the one who takes no offense at me." (Lk 7:23)
If you feel offended by someone, realize that you took the offense, that you took the bait.* While it is true someone may do something you dislike, you need not take the offense.
See Me hidden in every event of your day.

Novena to the Holy Spirit
"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

God bless your day. The Holy Spirit reminded me of this the other day. Good principle--don't take the offense just because the enemy offers it. Ha!
