Emmanuel -God is with us!

The grace that rests on this day is the grace to say Yes to the Lord -- the grace for union with Him.

Scripture: Matthew 1:18-25

Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe I beseech thee, O my God to hear my pray and grant my desires through the merits of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen

Merry Christmas, everyone!

The Advent Retreat provided a time and a place where daily I could be assured of a communion time with God. The fruit of time with Him in this particular focused venue (Advent Retreat)was grace for movement forward in ways that previously seemed impossible.

Thank you for your response. Glad to hear it was helpful for you. May God continue to bless your efforts to draw close to Him during hisholy season and throughout the new year.

Novena to the Holy Spirit

"Wait for the promise of the Father...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Acts 1:5,6

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
